Difficulties in operation-causes-solutions
The product does not adhere to the substrate
- Incompatible primer, too much or too little dried
- Temperature, humidity, dew point and condensation outside the specification
- Too much material applied in one layer
- Substrate contamination
- The product is too diluted
- The previous layer was not dried
Bubbles in the coating
- The primer is dirty or incompatible
- FLAMEX was applied before the primer was completely dry
- The substrate temperature is too high
- Spray pressure is too high or the gun is too close to the surface
- Roller application is too vigorous / strong
- The product is too diluted
- The equipment is not clean
- Temperature, humidity, dew point and condensation outside the specification
Slow drying time
- Temperature and humidity outside the specified limits
- The material is applied in layers of excessive thickness
- The product is too diluted
- The final coating was applied too early, the previous layer was not dried
- The additional layer of FLAMEX was applied too early, the previous layer was not sufficiently dried
Loss of adhesion
- Damage caused by water e.g.. exposure to inappropriate weather conditions
- Captured condensation
- The product is applied over an incompatible surface or primer
- Contamination of the substrate or product
- Temperature, humidity, dew point and condensation outside the specification
The product does not spray or leak
- Check equipment tip, pressure, blockages, hose diameter / length
- The equipment may not be clean
- The product is too cold
- The product has expired
- The packaging stood open for too long
- The material has not been adequately mixed before use
- The filters are left in place
Storage
FLAMEX must be stored at temperatures between 5 ° C and 35 ° C. Containers should be stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and flames.. Containers must be tightly closed. The product must be protected from freezing during storage and transport. The product should be stored in accordance with national regulations.
The shelf life of the product in the original packaging at a temperature of 20 ° C is 18 months from the date of manufacture, after which it can be re-checked.. The shelf life of a product is the period from the date of manufacture during which the product retains its physical integrity, remains within the specified limits, and remains suitable for its intended use.. The general precondition is that the material is stored in specific environmental conditions.
Paint variations
Some minor color variations can occur from rug to rug. Some coatings used as a top coat may fade and carbonize over time if exposed to sunlight or climatic conditions. Coatings designed to operate at high temperatures can undergo color change without affecting performance.
Health and safety measures
Appropriate precautions:
Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation during application and drying. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product.
Hand protection:
Use chemically resistant, impervious gloves. Wash hands after use.
Eye protection:
Wear safety goggles as it is possible to spray the product.
Skin and body protection:
Wear protective waterproof clothing and footwear.

Respirator
First aid measures after inhalation:
Take the person out into the fresh air and keep him in a position suitable for breathing. If a person appears to have difficulty breathing or respiratory irritation, seek medical attention. If you do not feel well, seek medical advice.
First aid measures after skin contact:
Take off dirty clothes. Wash skin with mild soap and water. If skin irritation occurs: seek medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
First aid measures after eye contact:
